Map of Samukanian military bases/infrastructure. Army bases are named after the land features where they are located, navy bases are named after nearby bodies of water, and air bases are named after their direction relative to Kotobuki. The Third and Fourth Army Groups had completely mobilized into the North Sky Mountain Army Base, while the Fifth and Sixth had been stationed at the South Sky Mountain base. The four groups totaled over four million infantry, light and heavy artillery, and armored vehicles. Each base had four heavy artillery devices that were capable of deploying small-scale tactical nuclear weapons, and all eight of them were prepared to fire if necessary. Ethanian soldiers had not yet advanced far beyond the Sky Mountains, but satellite images determined that they were going to arrive within twenty-four hours. The North Border and Lostlorn Army Bases were similarly manned by the Second and Fifth Army Groups, and were also prepared to take on invading MAF forces. Like at the eastern border, there had not yet been significant activity, though intelligence confirmed that there were enemy forces massing at the border. The Kotobuki Army Base was manned with the First Army Group, as well as the Army Special Forces division, famous throughout Samukan for their impressive combat abilities. The ASF were primarily focused on protecting politicians and other government figures, but were also prepared to launch an insurgence if the capital were ever taken. The Southeast, Central, and Northwest Air Bases were prepared to launch an air strike at invading forces whenever necessary. Each base contained manned and unmanned aircraft capable of delivering weaponry that would devastate any land forces, as well as aircraft specializing in taking down enemy aircraft and incoming missiles. As Samukan was in DEFCON 3, the Air Force was prepared to deploy within 15 minutes. The remaining air bases were preparing to deploy aircraft with the intent of destroying the blockade surrounding Samukan. Should an aerial attack on the blockade commence, naval fleets from the Arumaka Bay, West Arumaka Bay, and Nanto Sea bases would be deployed to finish off the remaining enemy ships.

The Azerian Government Office
Today marked the first day of the Azerian offensive against samukan. The Southwest and Northwestern airbases were bombed at the midnight as Military forces made landings on the peninsula of samukan at midnight. Many lives were lost as the struggle to form a large beachhead for the troops waiting to enter the country continues.
(These are continuous and every 12 hours. All bombers are protected by a wing of top of the line Aircraft)

The Azerian Empire launched an attack on the Southwestern and Northwestern Air Bases at midnight last night. Estimates for the number of attackers rose above ten wings. The damage to the bases left the Air Force unable to protect western Samukan for a short period of time, as exposed aircraft were destroyed and many pilots were killed.
During this time, fleets from the Taiyo Sea base intercepted and sank several Azerian ships. However, Azerian infantry were able to land and gather on the western Samukanian beaches. The Seventh Army Group from the West Irishihandai base have mobilized and are currently moving to engage the Azerian infantry. Field Marshal Curtis has decided to attack the Azerian soldiers from afar with heavy artillery, destroying their infantry and armored vehicles, and then use automatic weapons to raze the exposed enemy.

After the death of many first wave soldiers more gathered on the beaches as bombers began to carpet bomb all samukan bases and the incoming soldiers attempting to encounter the infantry. The sixth seventh and ninth tank divisions have made a charge for a samukan base that was left completely untouched by the bombings. In the sea the destroyed ships were replaced as aircraft have been launched to dive bomb the samukan ships.

Ethan Foley Military Report
March 31, 2014
Today, the soldiers in PRWA have withdrawn from the area and have relocated to the Samukan mainland. This has been done due to the overall destruction of PRWA and the impending surrender from PRWA. As of now, there is over 5,000,000 soldiers inside or at the borders of Samukan. Many of them have been camped there for two days now, and they have since received orders to make major offensives on key army, navy, and air bases within Samukan. Many of them are not expected to be captured right away due to heavy resistance being met, however the bases along the borders are expected to be captured very soon. Several Wolf packs (eight ships) have moved in on certain navy bases and have opened fire on them, and are currently still firing non-stop. Some of the bases that are being attacked and bombarded currently are Taiyo Sea, Northwest, West Irishihandai, Irishihandai, Lostlorn, North Border, Opai Bay, Opai, Southwest, West Arumaka Bay, South, Aruamaka Bay, Nanto Sea, South Sky Mountains, Elekti, and North Sky Mountains. Note that these are all bases, and should not be confused with cities that have the same name. The Ethan Foley Air Force (EFAF) has launched a major bombing offensive inside the Samukan mainland. The primary target for the bombings is the Opai Peninsula, however there are bombing raids all over the borders as well. There is currently no major bombing offensives in inner Samukan due to heavy anti-aircraft resistance, however they are expected to expand their bombings when the outer parts of the country have been taken down. Below is a map of the above report. The above bombings will be ongoing 24 hours a day for an unspecified time. Below is another map of the occupied areas of Samukan and the expected occupied areas of Samukan in the coming days.

The North Border and Lostlorn Army Bases had been overrun when the MAF armies had charged from the north. A combination of an army and aerial assault on the charging forces managed to weaken the enemy, however the battle became more and more grim as the fighting continued. Just before the bases were overrun by the enemy, tactical nuclear weapons were used to cause as much damage as possible, before the army groups fled via highway to the Irishihandai Army Base. A total of 300,000 Samukanian soldiers were lost in the battle. An accurate estimate of enemy casualties has not yet been produced, though it appears that the enemy has sustained much higher casualties due to the nuclear weapons.
The Ethanian forces descended from the Sky Mountains early this morning, and were met with an onslaught of Samukanian attacks. The North Sky Mountain, Elekti, and South Sky Mountain bases were filled with over five million soldiers prepared for combat. As the enemy approached, heavy artillery and tactical nukes were used to damage the enemy as much as possible. This, in combination with aerial forces' utilization of Hellfire missiles and napalm, managed to inflict massive losses on the enemy and the environment. As with earlier, estimates of enemy casualties are vague, but high.
The Military Intelligence Agency reported that Ethanian forces were preparing to launch a massive aerial assault on the Opai Peninsula, and the military has responded by preparing the Southwest Air Base with sixty air wings, totaling over 3,500 planes. The Opai Bay Naval Base has also prepared to engage enemy ships, with the intent of destroying them and any onboard aircraft before they can launch the attack. This is the largest aerial battle so far, and the military reports that it is confident that it will succeed in protecting the Opai Peninsula.
President Roffgan has officially lowered the DEFCON to 1, approving nuclear missile launch. He has also approved the launch of sixty nuclear IRBMs, targeted at major cities of Ethan Foley, Jakeopia, and Azeria (specifically targeting the City of Foley, Jakeopia City, and Pyrrhus). Several fighters have been deployed with each missile to ensure that they are not shot down before reaching their target (upon nearing the target, the planes will move away from the missile, following the nuclear strike with air-to-ground missiles to maximize devastation).

As the news of the imminent missile attack was heard an entire wing of drones were sent to escort the Anti-missile defense rockets to it. At the same time Azerian forces began moving from PRWA to Samukan launch more land assualts on the entire samukan western coast. Azerian cities have closed air vents and are running on emergency air.

The Military of Ethan Foley was successful in capturing key bases in Northern Samukan. Several nuclear explosions killed many soldiers, but many were out of the radiation zone since they couldn't fit so many people in one base, so losses from nuclear weapons were pegged at around 280,000 troops. Although the combined losses from nuclear explosions and ground warfare totaled the losses at 300,000 troops. The losses were much lower than expected due to the overwhelming skill and equipment the soldiers were armed with. As of now, the army of approximately 3,000,000 men in the North is re-grouping, pillaging, and preparing for another major offensive on Irishihandai and Kotobuki. There are currently ongoing nuclear bombings on the cities. Although only a few are expected to hit due to the overwhelming interceptions, the few that do hit are expected to cause massive damage due to the high population density in the two cities. Although interception from aircraft was expected to be low since the majority of Samukan's air force was in the Opai Peninsula.
In the east, the army of 2,000,000 soldiers was re-supplied, however 1,500,000 soldiers were sent back to the mountains due to the napalm attacks and artillery fire, which although was inaccurate due to an inexperienced enemy, killed approximately 60,000 soldiers because of the vast area the soldiers took up. The soldiers with minor injuries will be treated and returned to the front, and those with more serious injuries are being cooked for food. The Air Force took advantage of the fact that the majority of Samukan's air force was in the Opai Peninsula, so they began a massive aerial assault in the east, launching approximately 50 nuclear missiles and spreading Napalm and Agent Orange all over the Elekti area.
The group of 500,000 soldiers were ordered to spread out to prevent heavy losses from single explosions. However the Air Force also took advantage of the major congestion in the North Sky Mountain and the South Sky Mountain Bases and launched another 80 nuclear missiles at each base. Enemy losses were expected to be staggering since so many soldiers were in one single area, so one explosion was expected to cause horrific losses.
In the Opai Peninsula, there was no major aerial bombings that were previously planned due to the enormous enemy air presence. Although the ships remained blockading the ports, they prepared their anti-aircraft guns. The nuclear submarines launched approximately 30 ballistic missiles on the Opai Air Base to destroy as many aircraft as possible. Since there was such a large amount of aircraft in Opai, single nuclear explosions were expected to cause much damage. Other than that though, no major attacks were put forth on the Opai Peninsula.
A group of approximately 200,000 soldiers landed on the beaches in between West Arumaka Bay and South. They attacked on the cover of darkness, and were on a suicide mission to destroy the train tracks and highway at Opai. Since there was so little ground resistance, they reached the area quickly, however massive aerial attacks on them were expected. Although since they were suicidal, the thought was that much of the damage from the air force would in turn damage the train tracks and highway as the group of soldiers were all there. Slowly, the Military was cutting off the Opai Peninsula from the rest of Samukan. There are no expected survivors from the suicidal soldiers, as when they achieve their goal, they will disperse and pillage as much as they can before being killed.
In the Ethan Foley mainland, the radar quickly indicated that their were missiles heading their way. 500 fighter jets have been scrambled and are planning to intercept the missiles and jets over the mountains on the border. As the opposing air force is low in numbers, it is not expected to be difficult to eliminate the enemy fighters. Once done, missile interceptors will shoot the majority of the enemy missiles before they hit their targets. Although some are expected to hit their intended targets, damage is not expected to kill more than 200,000 human resources (civilians).

With nuclear bombs now aimed at Jakeopia, kamikaze fighters have been assigned to collide with these nuclear bombs. Before entering Jakeopia air space they will be deployed, towards these missiles. One of these will me controlled my a man and 4 others will be guided by people controlling them from Jakeopia, basically they are drones. These drones have anti-jamming abilities and have a maximum control radius of 3000 km. The manned plane will leave the group 5 minutes before impact and return to Jakeopia, he is only to assure a safe escort.
(OOC) Also did you see my last post? Sorry I didn't write anything along with it, I'm currently typing my next move.

OOC: Sam, you do realize that missiles travel incredibly faster than a jet, right? It would take about 40 minutes for a missile from Russia to hit the US.
