(Note - I’m only doing this to look professional.) This election, you can choose one of three nations to become your delegate. You can choose the Sandwich Territories. Our classic delegate. The go-to guy for power and embassies. You could choose Ethan Foley. A powerful delegate. The nation that uses his power for change for good. Or, you now have a third option. The Hackleberry Islands.
Firstly, before the good, we should tell the bad. We’ve accidentally broken a rule or two. We aren’t perfect. The Islands aren’t very good at enforcing rules, while Sandwich and Ethan Foley are. We’re like a doormat. And we are not experienced. So, if you want an experienced and powerful delegate that can put their foot down, the Islands are NOT your guy - Sandwich and Ethan are.
However, the Islands have quite a few redeeming qualities. We are notorious for our diplomacy and peaceful nature. Power abuse is virtually nonexistent with Hackleberry in charge. We’ll try to be just in every way, and provide an impartial view to all conflicts, if and when they arise. We can work together cooperatively with almost any nation, and are very laid back & easy going in conflict. Open to compromise, and to cooperative work, the Islands thrive. If you want a delegate that will not abuse their power, and want impartiality, as well as an easy going delegate, the Islands are a good choice.
We’re not going to try to convince you to vote for us. We won’t bash our competitors. In fact, we endorse them! If you want to vote for them, go ahead. Remember, they’re experienced, and they can enforce laws easily. But remember: If the qualities you want in a delegate are diplomacy, impartiality, responsibility, and the ability to work cooperatively, the Islands are your delegate.

The Military of Ethan Foley is a nation that has proved before as delegate that we do not fool around with the immense power given to us. Ethan Foley has gotten The East Pacific to construct embassies with Kennan. TEP is currently Kennan's largest embassy. We brought reform to Kennan's secretary positions, by giving the regional military control to the most peaceful nation in Kennan. We've been in Kennan since before it joined NationStates, helped found it, and have founded the judicial branch of Kennan, a step closer to democracy in Kennan. Our competitors are all different. Our most experienced delegate not taking the elections seriously, and our new contender promoting his kindness. Yes, it is certainly a varied group.
But we can do more for this great region, and we will if we become delegate. No, we may not be the most peaceful, nor have we the most delegate experience, but we have only brought good to Kennan, and we will in the time to come.
