Hello, nations of Kennan.
I am running for WA Delegate of Kennan for the March to April term, and I hope to bring energy, activity, and reform to Kennan. Our region has become progressively inactive and detached from our leadership, and power has been centralized in a small number of influential nations. I want to change that.
Kennan has remained somewhat stagnant for the past couple of months, as there has been little reason for us nations to interact with each other. What I plan to do as delegate is to increase Kennan's presence and influence in other regions, such as by constructing embassies in and placing puppets to communicate with other regions. This is a tactic that many influential regions, such as the South Pacific, have used. The regions of Kennan acting together has strengthened our unity in the past - such as it had during the threats of the Black Riders and the ongoing communications with the Grand Coalition - so I feel that increasing our presence outside of Kennan will be crucial to bringing us nations together and encouraging the nations of Kennan to become more involved in the region.
Additionally, I hope to break up the bloc that has ruled Kennan for so long. A small number of countries - including Samukan, I will admit - has effectively controlled Kennan since its founding, and that number has been decreasing ever since. If Samukan becomes delegate, I promise that we will invest much time and energy into the gradual development of a government where every nation has a fair chance at making its mark in Kennan.
The delegacy for the past terms has largely become isolated from the rest of its region. I hope to fix this. If Samukan becomes delegate, I promise to be more involved than ever in Kennan, and I will act only as you all wish. I hope you realize as much as I do that this is something necessary for leadership in our region, and that I am ready, willing, and able to provide this element of leadership.
A final thought: admittedly, Samukan has gained much power in Kennan, evidence by its positions as the Founder, Secretary of Administration, and administrator of the offsite forums. Should my plan to increase involvement in Kennan succeed, I promise that you will see Samukan step down from its position as a superpower in Kennan, and allow other nations to gain a foothold in the regional community.
Thank you for reading this, and please vote Samukan.
TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read): As Delegate, Samukan will increase activity in Kennan, Kennan's presence in the interregional community, and allow other nations to gain power.

Hello, my fellow Kennanites.
I wish to take this time to make a brief statement about my re-election plans, and to explain what should happen if I win the delegacy.
First off all will be my plans for the international community. As the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, I have been working closely with the founder to try and get rid of embassies which show no purpose, and improve meaningful relations with embassies that are important to the regions, like the GCR regions. However, this will only be able to work as much as the region wants it to, so we need the support of the region to get the area to where we want it to be. If so, we would be able to get more involved with other regions through puppet nation missions, RPs, telegrams, recruitment, etc. However, while I agree that these types of things have brought unity between us and another region, I feel that we should not get involved in military disputes with other regions unless it directly affects us, as these situations are either laughably bad attempts at forced RP, or non-existent "threats" by raiders....and we clearly have a founder.
The other reason that seems to be important is the involvement of other nations in Kennan government, especially those who haven't been involved before. My answer to this is simple. THE ONLY NATIONS THAT DESERVE SPOTS ON THE REGIONAL GOV. ARE THOSE WHO ARE COMMITTED TO THE CAUSE. I will not reshuffle what has been proven to work unless newer nations wish to be involved in gov. If you are a new nation to Kennan, and want to be considered for a government spot, all you have to do is be active and beneficial to the growth of the region. It is that simple. However, nations that have been causing issues or trouble around the region, and have been detrimental to our growth as a region should not expect to get a part on the government under my delegacy. While this is not much of an issue now, it was a month back or so, and I will make sure nothing of the sort will happen again here.
I too have an issue with too many nations having a rather large part of the power, which is why I feel I should be elected over Samukan. Samukan already has founder powers, and while he is beneficial to the region, it must be said that a second opinion is always good, and if a change up in power is what is desired in Kennan, then I feel like I am the best nation for the job. I have not been delegate in a while, but yet I have more experience as delegate than anyone else in Kennan. At the same time, I also feel that neutrality is an important part of being a delegate, or at the very least, being able to put issues aside for the greater common goal, and I think that I can do this, and have proven this over and over again.
It is for these reasons that I feel I should be elected for delegate, and that I value your vote this election. Thank you, and remember what you have read here when you go to vote soon.
