I am a member of the United Kennan Coalition.
Why do you want to be WA Delegate?
I want to be the WA Delegate of Kennan so I can continue my plan of overhauling the Kennan government, bringing in new nations to eventually surpass our past population of 44 nations, which would in turn make us more diverse, active, and hopefully interest some to join the Kennan government. On top of that, I want to continue working with the Foreign Affairs staff so we can have closer bonds with our allied regions.
But most of all, I want to continue the path of change that is acceptable with everyone in Kennan, not just one group, but everyone.
What will your foreign policy be?
I don't necessarily want more embassies, but I do want closer relations with the ones we currently have. Kennan used to send monthly update posts and maintained good relations with several regions, but we have since fallen away from that. I want our Foreign Affairs Staff to return to that state where we regularly communicated and checked in with other regions. If that means I have to join the Foreign Affairs staff, I will do so.
In regards to our allies being raided, I am a proponent of sending teams of nations to rescue that region. Although in some cases where the region is very inactive or we don't maintain good relations, it may be best to not intervene.
What will your domestic policy be?
Regarding the unfilled positions in the government, I plan on giving election authority back to the Secretary of Administration completely
as no one has shown any interest in it that is qualified for the position. I also plan on removing the Role-Playing Secretary altogether since no one has shown interest in that, and we do not role-play as often. Of course, if anyone qualified showed any interest, I would be more than happy to fill those positions instead as I originally hoped our previous secretaries would sign back up or someone new.
I also want to encourage more nations to telegram the WA Delegate so their input can be heard in decisions that don't directly involve those nations. I believe that since the WA Delegate is elected by the people, it is the responsibility of the WA Delegate to hear the opinions of the people and take those opinions into account when making regionally important decisions.
How do you feel about the state of the regional government?
The three branches, the KU, the KRC, and the Executive Branch, in my opinion, are working fine. However, I am unhappy with the Kennan Secretary Council. No one has shown interest in the positions they voted to have, and as a result, I want to remove those positions altogether as they are useless. Other than that, everything is working efficiently.
What kind of progress do you think the Kennanite government should make?
I think the Kennanite government should be more active in the duties they signed up for. Previously we had four secretaries doing nothing, and I changed that. But now we have people in jobs that require them to do things and they aren't doing anything. On top of that, we have unfilled positions but that's another story.
How will you promote progress in the regional government?
I will (and currently am) putting forward new resolutions that make changes in the government for the better. I also promote the idea of new people taking new positions in the government so long as they take the position seriously.
What is your vision for Kennan?
My vision for Kennan is an active region with many different things going on, like more role-playing, resolutions, taking part in the government, and of course, being more friendly and welcoming towards one another.
How experienced are you as WA Delegate or in the Kennan government?
I am experienced as WA Delegate as the Kennan people have voted me in office many, many times. I am also very active in the Kennan government as I hold the position of Secretary of Defense and Law Enforcement, and I am chairman of the Kennan Union.
How active are you currently in the Kennan government and in Kennan as a whole?
I am active in my job as Secretary of Defense and Law Enforcement, chairman of the Kennan Union, and of course, WA Delegate. I take all of those positions seriously and remain active in them. As for Kennan as a whole, I regularly take part in role-plays and post on the RMB multiple times a day. I also write resolutions regularly (and vote on them).
I also actively communicate with different Secretaries about foreign and domestic affairs that involve them and seek input often.
