Here is the thread for debates during this election. Questions will be added with new posts. Please refrain from directly addressing other candidates' statements and stay on topic. - What are your plans to reactive regional activity?
- What do you think was the best aspect of the previous WA Delegate term?
- What's your greatest concern about the region?

1. Reactivating regional activity is a tricky business, fraught with political faux pas. In order to rejuvenate regional participation, Joe the Disgruntled Office Employee would hold both casual and formal polls, post on the Regional Message Board, and cooperate with the Secretary of Administration to create frequent, engaging, and public role-plays in the offsite forum. In addition, JTDOE hopes that the writing of a regional Constitution will aid in regional participation and nations' involvement. 2. The best part of the previous Delegate's term was his or her willingness to cooperate when asked. Reaching across the aisle at the end of his or her term, the representative of Vinco helped to draft a new voting rights resolution with JTDOE. 3. JTDOE's greatest concern for Kennan is a lack of regional activity. As a region, Kennan offers highly motivating activities such as role-plays that are taken advantage of by only a select few nations.

1. I truly believe that you can't force people to be active on regional activity, and that such a thing shouldn't be done. There are many people in Kennan who are around to talk on the RMB and that is, which should be acceptable. On that note, I would focus on ensuring the availability of RPs from the people, the ability of people to express the happenings of their nation on the offsite forums or otherwise specified, and encouraging people to be creative if they wish to.
2. The best aspect of the previous WA Delegate was their ability to maintain the good status of the region. I can't agree that the recent agreement by the delegate was the best aspect of their delegation, as the whole situation, in our opinion, was rather unnecessary as is.
3. My greatest concern about the region is the current lack of ability of people who want to be involved in the happenings of our region to get involved, whether that be in RP form or in the region's politics.
