As a result of increasing levels of pollution - air or otherwise - and the destruction of natural land, the government of Samukan has imposed a new set of laws to protect the environment.
-The intentional destruction of designated protected areas is illegal and will be met with the forced restoration of the destroyed land by the guilty party and a fine of 50% of the guilty party's total annual income.
-Personal motorized vehicles are now banned, except for authorized uses.
-Funding is being given to public transportation to make prices cheaper, upgrade technology, and make long-distance transportation more comfortable and private.
-Wind farms, solar energy plants, hydroelectric generators, geothermal power plants, and nuclear power plants are being constructed to provide the entirety of Samukan with energy. Using multiple resources will be useful for when there is a lack of energy from one of the resources.
