Charter of the Kennan Economic and Trade Organization

PREAMBLE
The Kennan Economic and Trade Organization exists to promote the economies of Kennan nations, simplify the processes involved in international commerce, and ensure that workers of all countries are treated fairly and humanely. The KETO serves no purpose other than these, and members are expected to assist with reasonable effort to promote the mission of the KETO.
ARTICLE I
All members of the Kennan Economic and Trade Organization must be governments of countries recognized by the Kennan Regional Council. Members must exhibit the ability to maintain a stable and functional economy, in order not to negatively affect the economies of other nations.
ARTICLE II
No restrictions shall be made on goods or services being imported to or exported from a member of the KETO. Restrictions may be placed on goods or services that place the citizens or environments of a member nation in jeopardy.
ARTICLE III
All goods and services exported to or imported from a member of the KETO should have been made available for use by people working under humane, safe, and free conditions.
ARTICLE IV
Two delegates from each member of the KETO will gather together to form the KETO Committee, which will decide any course of action to be taken by the KETO, in accordance with this document, by popular vote. Of these delegates, one will be elected by majority vote of the delegates to serve as Chairman and one to serve as Secretary. The Chairman is responsible for organizing the KETO Committee, organizing the execution of the KETO Committee’s decisions, and representing the KETO. The Secretary is responsible for taking over the duties of the Chairman if the Chairman is not available when needed.
ARTICLE V
The KETO Committee is only permitted to make decisions to ensure that all members adhere to this document.
ARTICLE VI
This document may be amended by vote of the KETO Committee with at least two-thirds of the committee voting in favor.
